🎵 It’s the most wonderful time of the year! 🎵

The Holiday Season has arrived and there is so much to look forward to – parties and celebrations, delicious food, shopping, receiving gifts! But, the holiday season is also a time to reflect and be appreciative of what we already have. With Thanksgiving on its way, we wanted to share some of the things we are grateful for and what we enjoy most about the holiday!

Emily, Leasing Consultant

Emily is counting her blessings this year!

“I am very grateful for my family and friends, my health, and that I have a roof over my head and clothes on my back. I’m also thankful that we have so many great tenants at Haddon Point! My favorite things about Thanksgiving are the food, chilly weather, celebrating my birthday, and that my sisters come home and we help my mom prepare the food before the extended family comes over.”

This year, Emily will be spending Thanksgiving at her parents’ house with her mom’s side of the family.

Meghan, Resident Lifestyle & Social Media Coordinator

Meghan is ready to celebrate with family and friends!

“I am grateful for a lot, but I am most grateful for my family. I have a big extended family on both sides and one of the things I love most about the holidays is spending them with all my aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents! I am also very grateful for the Haddon Point community. I get to work with a great team every day and our residents are the best! I love everything about Thanksgiving – especially the food and the parade!”

Meghan will be celebrating twice this year – at Friendsgiving the weekend before the holiday and at her aunt’s house with her Dad’s side of the family on Thanksgiving Day!

Teresa, Director of Marketing & Communications

For Teresa, the holidays are all about family!

“I am grateful for the warmth of family and friends who I can truly lean on for anything. Family is a treasure that I am fortunate to have and Thanksgiving is the perfect time to remember that feeling of love and belonging. My favorite thing about Thanksgiving, besides sweet potatoes, is online shopping! Let’s be real – I’ll take a Michael Kors Black Friday sale any day!”

Teresa usually runs in her town’s annual Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning, but is planning on staying in to watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade this year instead. Luckily, her family lives close by so she will be celebrating Thanksgiving with both families, starting with dinner at her Grandmom’s and ending with Christmas Carols at her Mother-in-Law’s!
